The Hills Reliance R128 Wireless Alarm System has 16 wired on board zones and 48 wireless zones through the ITI wireless receiver. It has the ability to provide 128 wired or wireless alarm zones or a mixture of wired and wireless zones to a maximum of 128 with expansion. This means it can have 128 Alarm devices. Examples of alarm devices are movement detectors, reed switches, and smoke detectors. It should be noted that keyfobs in the ITI system take up a zone so if you had two keyfobs you would only have 46 zones to program devices to This kit is suited to a two story home.

The Hills Reliance R128 can have 8 distinct areas and the ability to have a Home mode and Armed Mode. The home area mode can be programmed for different home invasion protection mode. This means it can have home areas with devices reed switches etc that will go into alarm if opened while you are at home.

The system has an inbuilt PSTN dialer for standard copper phone line connection. The alarm system can be set up for self-monitoring using voice dialing. This enables the panel to call your mobile phone when there is an alarm. When you answer you will hear a siren if you don't acknowledge the alarm the system will call the next mobile number programmed a maximum of two numbers are able to be called. The Hills Reliance R128 can also be set up for contact id monitoring through a call center. If you don't have a telephone line at your house the Hills R128 will connect to a GSM dialler.
